SEBI Recruitment Exercise for Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) - Assistant Manager in Grade A in General Stream in Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI)

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) is a statutory regulatory body established by an Act of Parliament, to protect the interests of investors in securities, to promote the development of and to regulate the securities market.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Manager in Grade A in General Stream in Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Candidates are advised to apply ONLINE, through SIDBIs website at http://www.sidbi.in after carefully going through all the instructions contained in this application and general instructions given in this advertisement. No other means /mode of Application / Printout will be accepted.

SEBI Assistant Manager Officer Grade A Vacancies:  100

SEBI Assistant Manager Officer Grade A Eligibility Criteria: 

A) Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.  

B) Educational Qualification For SEBI ASSISTANT MANAGER  (As on January 03, 2023)

1. Post-Graduation Degree in any discipline (Preferably from Commerce / Economics / Management subject) from an institute / University recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) / Central Government

OR

2. Bachelors Degree in Law / Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil /Electrical / Mechanical);

OR

3. CA / CS / CWA / CFA / CMA OR Ph.D. from Institutions recognized by GOI/UGC. 

Note: The Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible to apply, provided they shall be required to submit the final marksheet and provisional / final degree certificate, in original at the time of interview.

C) Age For SEBI ASSISTANT MANAGER (as on December 14, 2022)

Not below 21 years and not exceeding 28 years.

(Candidates born not earlier than 14.12.1994 and not later than 15.12.2001 [both days including] are only eligible to apply)

Relaxation in age limits will be given as per applicable rules. 

SERVICE CONDITIONS/ PAY AND ALLOWANCES : 

a. Pay : Assistant Manager Grade A - General Stream 28150 - 1550(4) - 34350 - 1750(7) – 46600 -EB - 1750(4) – 53600 - 2000(1) - 55600 (17 years) 70,000/ - approx.

b. Benefits : Other benefits viz., Leave Fare Concession, Medical Expenses, Financial Dailies, Book Grant, Briefcase, Conveyance  Expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, Staff Furnishing Scheme, Scheme for Purchasing Computers, Subsidized Lunch Facility and all other benefits as admissible to an Officer in Grade A in SEBI.

c. Probation: The successful candidates recruited for the post of Officer Grade A shall undergo probation of two years. The candidates shall be confirmed in the services of SEBI subject to their satisfactory performance during the probation period.

d. Accommodation & Posting: Residential accommodation shall be provided subject to availability. The Officers may be posted and transferred to any location in India where SEBI has its Offices.
The officers may be posted to any department of SEBI, irrespective of stream. 

SEBI ASSISTANT MANAGER OFFICER GRADE A SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Mode of selection shall be a two stage process i.e.

SEBI Assistant Manager Officer Grade A : on-line screening examination for 200 marks

SEBI Assistant Manager Officer Grade A : Interview  

EXAMINATION CENTRES : 

The on-line examinations and interviews will be held in various cities across India.  

HOW TO APPLY SEBI ASSISTANT MANAGER OFFICER GRADE A APPLICATION FORM:  

Candidates are required to apply On-Line through the website https://www.sebi.gov.in/ from December 14, 2022 to January 03, 2023 and no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates need not submit the system generated print out of the ON-LINE application to SEBIs office.

Applicants are required to go to SEBIs website https://www.sebi.gov.in/ and open the link Careers. Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled SEBI RECRUITMENT EXERCISE - RECRUITMENT OF OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) - 2022 and click on the option APPLY ONLINE which will open a new screen.
